Probable participants are invited to submit 1-2-page Abstracts on any topic listed under “Topics Covered in the Conference” on the website. Please prepare the abstract according to the given ABSTRACT TEMPLATE. Please use the Times New Roman font type and adhere to the different font sizes used for different sections of the abstract. The abstracts should be submitted in English. Each abstract will be reviewed by two experts on the topic dealt with. The accepted abstracts are expected to be presented in English at the conference either under the podium or poster category.
Authors of the best 10-15 presentations at the conference will be given an option to extend the abstracts to paper manuscripts and submit them to the conference website 2-3 months after the conference (please note that this is not mandatory). Plans are underway to publish 10-15 best papers of the conference in a special issue of a reputed journal. Each paper will be reviewed by two experts on the topic dealt with. All the abstracts will be published electronically in a Proceeding of the First ISRM Commission Conference on Estimation of Rock Mass Strength and Deformability. At least one author of the abstract should register for the conference to deliver the presentation based on the abstract. Each registrant will be allowed to present a maximum of two abstracts.
